Hello friends! I am happy to report we got our updated bivalent Covid boosters on Monday, along with our flu shots. Neither one of us felt funny, other than sore arms. We know this won’t stop Covid completely, but we’ll be able to get out a little more.
My journey on Substack is tied to the writing I have discovered. I hope it guides me in the writing I do myself. We also get to happily stumble into each others via comments on perhaps like-minded posts. That is what brought me here. I scanned a couple of your posts and LOVE the cover photos. Finally, I found a Newsletter that shaades toward gneiss. I like that as I had a post a bit ago with it in the title. I will continue to scan a bit as time allows and hope to become a steady reader of your corner of Substack.

I loathe Total Eclipse of the Heart with a purple passion. A next-door neighbor in our duplex figured out to play songs on repeat on her CD player and it was sheer hell ALL DAY LONG with this song. If I ever meet Bright Eyes I'm going knock the shit out of them. That cover is hilarious!
